Fujeng Settlement Introduction
Fuzheng Settlement is located in Ju Guang Township on Dongju Island. It is the most well-preserved and representative traditional Fujian East stone house settlement on the island. The settlement is situated facing the sea and backed by mountains, with buildings primarily constructed from local granite, showcasing a typical fishing village layout arranged in a north-south direction. Walking through the alleys, one can sense the strong island life atmosphere, the charm of traditional architecture, and the cultural traces accumulated by generations of residents. The nearby Fuzheng Beach adds both lifestyle scenes and natural scenery to the settlement, making it an essential spot not to be missed during a visit to Dongju.
