Silent Crocodile Introduction
The "Sleeping Crocodile" is located off the coast of Xiyin Island in Dongyin Township. It is a unique landscape formed by natural sea erosion and coastal rocks. From a specific angle, the outline of the giant rock resembles a large crocodile lying quietly by the sea, watchfully overlooking the Matsu waters, hence the name. The terrain here is majestic, often accompanied by the crashing waves and splashing water, showcasing distinctly different natural beauty regardless of clear or rainy days and at dawn or dusk. It is one of the most popular scenic spots in Nangan.
