Baoshan Lakeside Trail Introduction
The Sha Hu Li Trail, also known as the Baoshan Reservoir Lakeside Trail, is a lakeside trail surrounding the reservoir, where the water is clear and emerald green, surrounded by mountains. The trail is approximately 3.2 kilometers long, featuring stone slabs or wooden sleepers along the route. It passes two suspension bridges, and the gentle slope makes it easy for both walking and light jogging, taking about 50 minutes to complete. The breathtaking scenery along the way allows one to feel the wonders of nature with every step. Crossing the Baohu Suspension Bridge and the Bihu Suspension Bridge, standing on the bridge offers an unobstructed view of the lake and mountains, making it a perfect spot for taking photos or simply enjoying the tranquil scenery. The trail is highly recommended for beautiful photos at the suspension bridges, as every shot looks like a stunning postcard. The trail begins at the Sha Hu Li Art Center, which is situated by the lake and serves as a resting point for hikers. Along the trail, there are agricultural specialties like citrus fruits and green bamboo shoots. Additionally, there are resting benches along the way, allowing for stops to feel the breeze and release stress, providing a complete relaxation for body and mind! Adjacent to the Science Park is the Baoshan Reservoir, which retains its original landscape, with lush green forests, birdsong, and the dance of light on the water, making it a beautiful spot for leisure and vacation.
