Watermelon Farm Cultural and Educational Park Introduction

It is rare to find a place designed with parent-child activities in mind. As children, the four sisters, resembling "watermelon rinds," enjoyed family outings the most. However, after exploring every corner of Taiwan, they struggled to find an ideal location for parent-child leisure activities. Thus, they began to envision their dream "Watermelon Farm." Proudly pointing to the path they paved themselves, Sister Watermelon No. 2 stated that although the path intended for "strollers" is not wide, it helps parents conserve energy and is also accessible for friends with disabilities. The children's favorite indoor painting area utilizes recycled classroom desks and chairs, cut, smoothed, and connected, adorned with gardening aluminum strips. Lively ants and spiders come alive before their eyes, where children can unleash their creativity and imagination, painting with acrylics to express their unique styles. The insects in the farm now wear colorful, adorable new outfits thanks to the painting, shedding their terrifying appearances. Sister Watermelon No. 2 hopes this DIY project can serve as home decor, embodying the significance of waste reuse and incorporating ecological conservation concepts. In the future, butterflies and beetles flying around the park will also join the colorful painting efforts.
