Watermelon Farm Cultural and Educational Park Introduction
It's rare to find a place that focuses on parent-child activities. When the four sisters, who grew up with the 'watermelon peel' design, became adults, their happiest moments were family outings. However, after exploring every corner of Taiwan, they never found the ideal place for family leisure activities. So, the sisters began to envision and create their dream "Watermelon Orchard." Pointing at the paths they personally paved, Sister Watermelon proudly said that although the paths designed for "strollers" are not wide, they save parents a lot of effort and are also convenient for people with disabilities. The children's favorite indoor painting area features a creative installation made from recycled desks and chairs that were cut, smoothed out, and connected with aluminum strips used in gardening. Numerous vividly depicted ants and spiders come to life before the children's eyes, allowing them to fully unleash their creativity and imagination by painting with acrylic colors to showcase their own style. The insects in the orchard don colorful new outfits through this painting, shedding their terrifying appearances. Sister Watermelon hopes this DIY project can serve as home decor, embodying the concept of waste reuse while also incorporating ecological conservation. In the future, butterflies and beetles flying around the park will also join in on the painting initiative.
