Fenglian Temple Introduction

In the 58th year of the Republic (1969), a local benefactor of the He family donated the land for the temple and gathered local gentries to discuss and raise funds for the construction, establishing the Fenglian Temple of Guanyin. Mr. He Youjia served as the administrator. The main deity worshiped in this temple is Guanyin, along with auxiliary deities including the God of Agriculture, the Goddess of Childbirth, Prince Yanping, and the God of Wealth. After renovations were completed in the 95th year of the Republic (2006), a Wenchang Hall was added next to the temple, housing deities such as Wenchang Dijun, Guan Sheng Dijun, and the God of Literature and Wealth.
