Fenglian Temple Introduction
In the 58th year of the Republic (1969), a local surname He donated the land for the temple foundation and gathered local gentry to discuss and raise funds for its construction, establishing the Fonglian Temple of Guanyin. Mr. He Youjia served as the manager of the temple. The main deity enshrined in this temple is Guanyin (Avalokiteshvara), along with the subsidiary deities including the God of Agriculture, the God of Childbirth, the Prince of Yanping, and the God of Wealth. After renovations were completed in the 95th year of the Republic (2006), a Wenchang Hall was added beside the temple, which enshrines Wenchang Dijun, Guan Sheng Dijun, and the God of Culture and Wealth.
