Beigang Wude Temple Introduction
Beigang Wude Temple, which originated from a traditional Chinese medicine shop, is dedicated to the God of Wealth, who is known as the Wealth God of Martial Arts. He is based on the mythological figure Zhao Gongming from the Ming Dynasty novel "Investiture of the Gods," wielding a steel whip and possessing two magical treasures: the Pearl that Stabilizes the Sea and the Dragon Binding Rope. The belief in the Wealth God of Beigang originated from the Baosheng Hall, a Chinese medicine shop on the main street, which is now a trendy cultural coffee shop.
