Wanfo Temple is located on Shitou Mountain at the junction of Hsinchu and Miaoli, nestled in a dense forest. The main hall enshrines the Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva with a thousand hands and a thousand eyes. Upon entering Wanfo Temple, you will see many adorable little novice monks, whether they are welcoming visitors or busy fetching water and sweeping the ground, each one exuding a sense of warmth and friendliness.
