The Lao Tu Art Studio is led by Professor Li Ming-Song, focusing primarily on the creation of functional pottery. The basic creative techniques are centered around wheel throwing and hand modeling, with product features inspired by the elements of nature and culture surrounding everyday life. Professor Li hopes that the spirit of Lao Tu Art can integrate art into daily life and bring artistry into living, and he aspires to carry on the ancient and enduring tradition of pottery art, which is reflected in the studio’s name.
