Taroko Archway Introduction
This archway, featuring a Northern Chinese palace style, is located at the intersection of the southern end of Jinshe Bridge and Central Cross-Island Highway. The inscription "Central Cross-Island Highway" is hand-painted by the contemporary calligrapher Wang Zhuangwei, making it a representative symbol since the opening of the Central Cross-Island Highway. To the right of the archway, you will reach the Taroko Visitor Center, which provides detailed information on Taroko's geology, ecology, and tourism. Nearby, the Taroko Plateau Trail spans about 1 kilometer, offering a flat and easy path, perfect for enjoying a leisurely time.
