National Taiwan University Introduction
National Taipei University, originally known as the College of Law and Business of National Chung Hsing University, was established independently in 2000 in Sanxia, New Taipei City. The campus spans an area of 60 hectares and is home to seven colleges: the College of Law, College of Business, College of Public Affairs, College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, College of Humanities, College of Social Sciences, and the International College of Sustainable Innovation. National Taipei University is located near the landmark of Sanxia - Yuanshan, which is why the bird of prey is used as the school’s symbol, and a Kite Square has been established in the southwest corner of the campus. The San-Ying Line MRT viaduct, crossing over Kite Square, features a design inspired by local elements of Sanxia, resembling a brick archway known as the “Ancient Corridor,” which has become a new landmark within the campus.
