Wangyang Ancient House Introduction
Located on Wenhua Road in Yingge District, this brick street house was built during the Japanese colonial period, around 80 to 90 years ago. It features a three-bay, two-story design. The arcade and the brick wall facade on the second floor are decorated in the Baroque style, showcasing considerable refinement and artistic value. The preservation status is quite good, with remnants of its past as a rice and grain store, which testify to Yingge's commercial history. On the same side, tall buildings stand closely, while across the street is the railway area of the Zehuo Station, which is enclosed by a wall. The second-floor facade features a Western-style arcade adorned with Baroque decorations. The architecture is beautiful, spacious, sturdy, and aesthetically pleasing. The brick street house consists of three bays, with commercial spaces on the ground floor and living spaces above, connected by a wooden staircase. There is an arcade in front, which connects to the second-floor facade, showcasing Baroque architectural style.
