Wangyang Ju Ancient House Introduction
Located on Wenhua Road in Yingge District, this brick street house, built during the Japanese colonial period approximately 80-90 years ago, features a three-bay, two-story structure. The arcade and the second-floor facade are adorned with Baroque-style decorations, showcasing significant craftsmanship and artistic value. The building is well-preserved, retaining elements of its past, including a rice store that testifies to Yingge's commercial history. Surrounded by a cluster of modern buildings, it faces the railway area of the Zhe railway station, which is enclosed by a wall. The second floor features a Western-style arcade with Baroque-style decorations. The building is aesthetically pleasing, spacious, and robust. The brick street house comprises three bays, with commercial space on the ground floor and residential space on the upper floor, connected by wooden stairs, and has an arcade at the front that links to the Baroque-style facade on the second floor.
