Wang Yang Ju Ancient Residence Introduction
Located on Wenhua Road in Yingge District, this brick street house was built during the Japanese colonial period, around 80 to 90 years ago. The three-bay, two-story structure features a Baroque-style facade with exquisite and artistic value. It is well-preserved, maintaining elements from its past as a rice grain shop, reflecting the commercial history of Yingge. Surrounded by numerous buildings, it faces the railway area near the Zhe Railway Station, which is enclosed by a wall. The western-style arcade on the second floor has Baroque decorations. The building is beautiful and spacious, solid and aesthetically pleasing. The brick street house has three bays, with a storefront on the ground floor and living space above, connected by a wooden staircase. The arcade in front connects to the second-floor facade, adopting Baroque architectural style.
