Tainan: Donghe Honey Culture Tourism Factory Introduction
The Donghe Bee Cultural Tourism Factory is the first tourism factory in southern Taiwan that combines bee culture with leisure and tourism, offering visitors a feast for the eyes, touch, and taste. Starting with an introduction to Donghe's beekeeping, it covers the culture of honey, honey production, and related knowledge, allowing you to fully understand "bee culture"! Located in Tainan City, it began operations on February 16, 2015, and is the first honey-themed tourism factory in Taiwan, as well as the only honey tourism factory to pass the evaluation. Services provided include knowledge about bees, DIY experiences, honey cuisine, and sales. In the cultural exhibition hall, visitors can learn about the brand story, production processes, and information related to bees and the applications of honey in cuisine. There is also a simulated experience area where you can experience the honey harvesting process and take photos. The hall has planned DIY activities such as making cute bee magnets with light clay and creating adorable bee doll pens. Before you leave, you can enjoy the lush rural scenery in the characteristic glass coffee house while sipping on a sweet and refreshing honey drink and authentic Dongshan coffee, accompanied by crispy and soft Belgian waffles.
