Taiwan Sugar Wushulin Park Introduction
Wushulin Sugar Factory is located in Wushulin, Houbi District, Tainan City. Built in 1910, it no longer produces sugar but retains its original sugar rail system and features a dynamic display of Taiwan Sugar Corporation's five-minute train. With the decline of the sugar industry, the small train that transported sugar cane also ceased operations, and the Wushulin Station, which served as a hub between Baihe and Dongshan areas, closed its doors after the passenger service was suspended in 1979. At the end of 2002, with the assistance of various individuals, Wushulin Station reappeared with a brand-new railway cultural identity.
