Guishan Island Introduction
Qiaozai Settlement is located on the southeastern side of Beigan Island, near Baisha Harbor. It is a traditional village built by the mountains and the sea. The settlement is known for its granite stone houses, narrow alleys, and the layered profiles of the settlements, showcasing the lifestyle of Matsu's early residents who adapted to the island environment. The old houses, stone walls, and traditional landscapes in the village are well-preserved, and walking through them allows one to experience the simple living atmosphere of Beigan. Additionally, visitors can enjoy the view of the sea surface of Baisha Harbor from the settlement, making it an excellent spot to experience local culture.
