Sanjian Islets Introduction
The Three Islands are located in the waters north of Dongyin Island, composed of three interconnected small islands, making it a rare offshore island group landscape in the Matsu region. The rock formations of the islands are heavily eroded by the sea, with clear visibility of sea stacks, sea arches, and layered jointing, serving as a natural geological classroom. Due to its steep terrain and uninhabited status, it retains a pristine natural appearance. On clear days, the silhouettes of the Three Islands are distinct, making it an excellent spot for coastal photography and observing coastal landforms.
