Ready For Battle Memorial Park Introduction
The Ge-dai-dan Memorial Park is located in the high ground area between Magang and Fuxing on Nangan Island, and it is the most representative symbol of the wartime spirit in Matsu. The park features a grand sign that reads "Awaiting the Dawn" (枕戈待旦), symbolizing the long-standing state of military preparedness during the early years of garrison duty. The park offers excellent views overlooking Magang, Tieban Bay, and the surrounding coastline, making it a landmark with historical significance, spiritual symbolism, and scenic value. It is also one of the must-visit spots for photography in Nangan.
