Big Cannon Link Introduction
Dapao Lian, located in the mountainous area on the southeast side of Nangan Island, is one of the important artillery positions for military defense in Matsu during its early wartime history. The park retains military facilities such as tunnels, gun emplacements, and observation holes, all constructed from carved rock, presenting a tightly secure wartime configuration. Walking through Dapao Lian allows visitors to gain an in-depth understanding of Matsu's long military history and the operation of its defense systems, as well as enjoy views of the sea and coastal terrain from a high vantage point, making it a unique attraction that combines military culture with landscape observation.
