Siliaya Tribe - Toushe Introduction
It is said that Toushe was established by the Xinkang indigenous people who migrated to the shallow mountain area in response to oppression from Han Chinese, hence the name "Toushe." This place is a crucial trading hub for the Han, with most residents belonging to the Mugaluyawan community. The ancestors are revered, and there is a three-hall public temple called "Taishang Longtou Zhongyi Temple" to the north of the tribe, which is currently the largest plain indigenous public temple in Taiwan.
