Tousheng Taishang Longtou Zhongyi Temple "Siraya Palace" Introduction
Taishang Longtou Zhongyi Temple is located in the Danei Tou She community. Although it is named a "temple," it is actually a "public hall" of the Siraya people, referring to the place where members of the tribe worship "Taizu" (also known as Alimu, Alizu, or Lao Jun). The name of "temple" was adopted due to the regulations for temple registration by the Ministry of the Interior in earlier periods. During the Japanese occupation, the Tou She Public Hall was constructed using thatch, and it was rebuilt into a brick house with a black tile roof after the war, but it retains the traditional public hall style with three walls and no temple door.
