Orchid Park Introduction
The Orchid Biotechnology Park in Houbil Wushulin attracts many visitors from both domestic and abroad every year during the orchid exhibition. However, outside the exhibition period, there are also places to appreciate orchids. Of course, in Tainan, known as the hometown of orchids, there is a Orchid Botanical Garden in the Niuchoupu area of the Shan-shang District. It was founded by the "Orchid Father," Mr. Wu Ming-kun and his wife, who originally focused on the orchid seedling improvement industry. Over the years, they realized that such a beautiful plant as the orchid should be shared with more people for recognition and inheritance, thus establishing the Taiwan Orchid Botanical Garden. The park features an orchid conservation area, orchid greenhouse, and ecological garden, and there is no admission fee. Additionally, the park has a restaurant, making it a perfect place to enjoy, photograph, and purchase orchids while also finding a place to dine. Therefore, do visit the mountain area to experience this "Paradise of Orchids," a presidential-level garden.
