Shibi Ecological Recreation Area Introduction
Shihbi, located about a 20-minute drive from the Caoling Image Commercial District, has become a popular hiking trail in recent years. It serves as a midway point for the hike from Xitou to Caoling. By climbing to the highest peak, Shihbi Mountain, visitors can enjoy the distant, ethereal mountain mist, and if lucky, be greeted by a dreamlike sea of clouds. The hike can begin from the furthest trail, taking a walk through the Moso bamboo forest path, leading into the camphor forest, where one can experience the tranquil beauty of Shihbi Mountain's woods. Next, you can visit the Jiuqiung sacred tree, which survived a devastating fire, or head to Shihbi Valley to see how the flowing stream has carved impressive cliffs and canyons.
