湖口溼地

This wetland grassland ecological area located on the section of Lukou Village, Kouhu Township, Yunlin County, was originally a farm operated by Taiwan Sugar Corporation. After being struck by Typhoon Wayne in 1986, seawater inundated the area, making it impossible to continue cultivating the large farmland that was originally planted with sugarcane. After years of fallow, the land has transformed into a paradise for wild plants through the cleansing of time, without artificial embellishments and cultivation. It has combined with the wetland recreational park planned by the local government, creating another unique rural characteristic.
