Lakeben Township, characterized by hilly terrain, is located to the south of Linnei Township. The ecological environment within the village is quite favorable, with the migratory bird species, the Formosan Blue Magpie, visiting every summer. In November, they leave Taiwan, which is why it is also known as the "Hometown of the Eight Colors Bird". Within Lakeben Village, one can also observe various conservation bird species such as the Taiwan Blue Magpie, the Blue Mountain Chicken, the Black-crowned Night Heron, and the Red Jadeite. Additionally, there are plants like the Thunder God Vine and Dendrobium orchids. With the collaboration of the local community development association and the government, Lakeben Village has become an educational, tourist, and recreational eco-village within Linnei Township.

In winter, around November, they leave Taiwan, earning the title "Hometown of the Formosan Blue Magpie." In Hokbung Village, one can also see other protected bird species such as the Taiwan Blue Magpie, Blue Mountain Chicken, Black-crowned Night Heron, and Collared Kingfisher. Additionally, plants such as the Thunder God Vine and Dendrobium can be found. With the combined efforts of the local community development association and the government, Hokbung Village has become an educational, touristic, and recreational eco-village within Linnei Township.
