Hupen Ecological Village Introduction
Located to the south of Linnei Township, Huben Township features predominantly hilly terrain and boasts a rich ecological environment. Every summer, the international conservation bird species known as the Eight-color Pheasant arrives to inhabit the area, only to leave Taiwan around November in winter, earning it the nickname "Hometown of the Eight-color Pheasant." In Huben Village, one can also spot conservation bird species such as the Taiwan Blue Magpie, the Black-faced Spoonbill, and the Red Jade, along with plants like the Thunder God Vine and Dendrobium orchids. With the collaboration of the local community development association and government support, Huben Village has transformed into an educational, touristic, and recreational eco-village within Linnei Township.
