Huben Ecological Village Introduction
Hokbung Township, characterized by hilly terrain, is located to the south of Linnei Township. The ecological environment in the village is quite favorable, and every summer, the internationally protected migratory bird, the Formosan Blue Magpie, comes to reside here. In winter, around November, they leave Taiwan, earning the title "Hometown of the Formosan Blue Magpie." In Hokbung Village, one can also see other protected bird species such as the Taiwan Blue Magpie, Blue Mountain Chicken, Black-crowned Night Heron, and Collared Kingfisher. Additionally, plants such as the Thunder God Vine and Dendrobium can be found. With the combined efforts of the local community development association and the government, Hokbung Village has become an educational, touristic, and recreational eco-village within Linnei Township.
