Hukben Township, which is primarily hilly in terrain, is located to the south of Linnei Township. The ecological environment within the village is quite good, and every summer, the internationally protected migratory bird species, the Taiwanese Blue Magpie, comes to inhabit the area. In winter, around November, they leave Taiwan, which is why it is also known as the "Hometown of the Taiwanese Blue Magpie." Within Hukben Village, you can also see conservation bird species such as the Formosan Blue Magpie, Blue-footed Chicken, Black-crowned Night Heron, and the Common Kingfisher. Additionally, there are plants such as the Thunderbolt Orchid and Dendrobium. With the collaboration of the local community development association and the government, Hukben Village has become an educational, tourism, and leisure ecological village within Linnei Township.
