Hukben Township, which is predominantly hilly, is located to the south of Linnei Township. The ecological environment within the village is quite good, attracting the international conservation bird species, the eight-colored bird, to inhabit the area every summer. In winter, around November, they migrate away from Taiwan, which is why it is also referred to as the "Hometown of the Eight-Colored Bird." In Hukben Village, one can also see various conservation bird species such as the Formosan blue magpie, the blue pheasant, the black-crowned night heron, and the red jade. Additionally, there are plants like the thunderbolt orchid and Dendrobium.
