Huben Ecovillage Introduction
Located in the hilly terrain of Huben Township, it lies to the south of Linnei Township. The ecological environment within the village is quite good, and every summer, the international conservation bird species—Blue-throated Bee-eater—comes to nest, leaving Taiwan around November in winter, which is why it is also known as the "Hometown of the Blue-throated Bee-eater." In Huben Village, you can also see Taiwan Blue Magpies, Formosan Blue Magpies, Black-crowned Night Herons, and Scarlet Minivets, as well as plants like Thunderbolt Orchid and Dendrobium. With the combined efforts of the local community development association and the government, Huben Village has become an educational, tourism, and leisure eco-village within Linnei Township.
