Rihsing Cotton Blanket Store is an old shop with a history of over a century and has been run by three generations. The owner, Chen Ching-hsiu, learned to make handmade cotton blankets from his father since childhood, and every detail is crucial. From the raw cotton material, through the complex steps of opening, laying, fluffing, pressing, and drawing yarn, it takes at least three hours to produce a handmade blanket. Chen Ching-hsiu sews the words "Special Quality" with red thread into the blankets, along with the store's phone number and address, representing a guarantee of the blanket's quality. In modern times, such dedication and attention to detail have become rare.
