Rihsing Comforter Store is an old shop with over a hundred years of history and has been run by three generations. The owner, Chen Ching Hsiu, learned how to make handmade comforters from his father since he was young, where every detail must not be neglected. From raw cotton, through complicated steps such as opening cotton, laying cotton, tufting, pressing and screening, to pulling thread, it takes at least 3 hours to create a handmade comforter. Chen Ching Hsiu sews the words "Special Quality" in red thread inside the comforter and prints the store's phone number and address on it, representing a guarantee of quality for this comforter. In today's world, such dedication and attention to detail are rare.
