Chih Ming Temple was established in 1989 and serves as the local religious center in Caoling. It primarily enshrines Shakyamuni Buddha, along with the Four-Faced Buddha, the national treasure-level ancient Buddha Manjushri from Thailand, and the statue of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva. The Four-Faced Buddha was brought over from Thailand and is said to have performed many miracles, making it a renowned attraction in Caoling.
