Rihsing Bedding Store is an old shop with a history of over a hundred years, operated by three generations. The owner, Chen Ching-shiu, learned to make handmade bed quilts from his father since childhood, paying meticulous attention to every detail. From sourcing cotton, opening the cotton, laying the cotton, springing the cotton, filtering, to pulling the yarn, it takes at least three hours to complete a handmade quilt through these complex processes. Chen Ching-shiu stitches the words "Special Quality" with red thread into the quilt and prints the store's phone number and address, representing a guarantee of the quilt's quality. Such dedication and commitment have become rare in modern times.
