Hai Sa Li Fu Tian Gong Introduction
The Matsu Goddess Temple, originally known as Jinxing Temple, is dedicated to Xufu Qiansui and the Heavenly Mother, commonly known as Haisha Limi. The temple was established in the mid-Qing Dynasty and was renovated during the Showa era by the local official Chen Huai, who initiated fundraising efforts to rebuild it using brick and wood structures. The temple underwent renovations in 1954 and 1963. Located in Xingtong Village in the township of Citong, the temple is dedicated to the Heavenly Mother and was established during the Daoguang era of the Qing Dynasty. After several renovations and modifications, it was rebuilt in 1997, presenting its current appearance. The temple is luxurious and magnificent, and its golden splendor is particularly striking at night when illuminated.
