Kailash Temple Introduction
The Goddess Fengtian Temple, originally named Jinxing Temple, is dedicated to Xu Fu Qiansui and the Heavenly Mother Santai (commonly known as Haishali Ma). The temple was established in the mid-Qing Dynasty and was rebuilt in a brick and wood structure during the Shōwa era through fundraising initiated by the local leader Chen Huai-fa. The temple underwent renovations in 1954 and 1963. Fengtian Temple is located in Xingtong Village, Cishi Township, and is dedicated to the Heavenly Mother. It was established during the Daoguang era of the Qing Dynasty and has undergone multiple renovations before being reconstructed to its current appearance in 1997. The entire temple is magnificent, and in the evening, when the lights are on, it displays its splendid and dazzling features even more prominently.
