Khashali Fuzhen Temple Introduction
The Goddess Futen Temple, originally named Jinxing Temple, is dedicated to Xufu Qiansui and the Heavenly Mother (commonly known as Haisha Li Ma). The temple was established in the mid-Qing Dynasty and during the Showa era, it was renovated into a brick and wooden structure through fundraising initiated by the village chief Chen Huai-fa. The temple underwent repairs in 1954 and 1963. Futen Temple is located in Xintong Village, Citong Township, and is dedicated to the Heavenly Mother. It was established during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty and has undergone multiple renovations, with a significant reconstruction in 1997 resulting in its current appearance. The entire temple is magnificent, and when night falls with lights illuminating, it showcases a splendid and resplendent view.
