Haisalifutian Temple Introduction
The Goddess Fengtian Temple, originally named Jinxing Temple, is dedicated to Xufu Qiansui and the Mazu, known as "Haishali Ma." The temple was built in the mid-Qing Dynasty and, during the Showa era, was funded for reconstruction by the local official Chen Huai. The original structure was transformed into a brick and wooden structure. The temple underwent renovations in the 43rd and 52nd years of the Republic of China. Fengtian Temple is located in Xingtong Village, Citou Township, and is dedicated to the Heavenly Mother. It was established during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty and has undergone multiple reconstructions, with a significant renovation completed in the 86th year of the Republic of China, presenting its current appearance. The temple's overall architecture is magnificent, and its golden splendor is even more pronounced when illuminated at dusk.
