Kailasa Temple Introduction
The Temple of the Heavenly Mother (Futian Temple), originally named Jinxing Temple, is dedicated to the Xufu Qiansui and the Heavenly Mother (commonly known as Haishali Mama). It was established in the mid-Quing Dynasty and was transformed into a brick-and-timber structure through fundraising initiated by the local headman Chen Huai during the Showa period. The temple underwent renovations in 1954 and 1963. Futian Temple is located in Xingtong Village, Cisha Township, and has been dedicated to the Heavenly Mother since its establishment during the Daoguang era of the Qing Dynasty. After numerous renovations, it was rebuilt in 1997, presenting its current form. The entire temple is magnificent, and at night, when the lights are on, it showcases a splendid and resplendent appearance.
