Jishan Temple, originally named Jinxing Temple, is dedicated to Xufu Qiansui and the Heavenly Mother (commonly known as Matsu). The temple was established in the middle of the Qing Dynasty and was rebuilt into a brick and wood structure during the Showa era through fundraising initiated by the local headman Chen Huai. The temple underwent renovation in the years 1954 and 1963.

Sihai Temple Introduction

The Temple of Fortune (福天宮), originally named Jinxing Temple (進興宮), is dedicated to Xu Fu Qiansui (徐府千歲) and the Celestial Mother (天上聖母), commonly known as Haishali Mama (孩沙里媽). The temple was established in the mid-Qing Dynasty and was rebuilt during the Showa era through fundraising initiated by village chief Chen Huai Fa. It was reconstructed into a structure of brick and wood, and significant renovations took place in 1954 and 1963. The Temple of Fortune is located in Xingtong Village, Citou Township (莿桐鄉), and is dedicated to the Celestial Mother. Established during the Daoguang era of the Qing Dynasty, it underwent multiple renovations and was rebuilt to its current appearance in 1997. The entire temple exudes opulence, especially at dusk when it is brightly illuminated, showcasing its resplendent beauty.
