Wind Power Generation Introduction
Four wind turbines imported from Denmark stand tall at the mouth of the Zhuoshui River on the northern bank, reaching a height of 45 meters with a blade diameter of 47 meters, producing a whooshing sound when facing the wind. Although their economic benefits are not high, they are currently a target for the government's strong promotion of green energy. This site attracts groups of local individuals from Taoyuan, Miaoli, Hsinchu, and Pingtung who are interested in building wind power generation facilities to come and observe. It is also a popular photo spot for incense offerings during coastal temple fairs, and serves as an excellent outdoor teaching location for elementary school children from nearby counties and cities.
