Wind Power Generation Introduction
Four wind turbines imported from Denmark stand tall at the estuary of the Zhuoshui River in the northern dyke, reaching a height of 45 meters with a blade diameter of 47 meters. They produce a whooshing sound as they turn in the wind. Although their economic benefits are not significant, they are a key target for the government's promotion of green energy. This site attracts local individuals from Taoyuan, Miaoli, Hsinchu, and Pingtung counties who are interested in building wind power facilities to come and observe. It is also a popular spot for coastal temple fairs and a great place for elementary school students from neighboring counties to have outdoor educational experiences.
