Wind Power Generation Introduction
Four wind turbines imported from Denmark stand tall at the estuary of the Zhuoshui River on the north coast, reaching a height of 45 meters with a blade diameter of 47 meters, creating a whooshing sound in the wind. Although the economic benefits are not high, they are currently a major focus of the government's promotion of green energy. This site attracts groups of local officials from Taoyuan, Miaoli, Hsinchu, and Pingtung who are interested in building wind power plants, and it is a popular spot for coastal temple activities and photo opportunities. It also serves as a great place for outdoor teaching for elementary school students from neighboring counties.
