Wanta Bike Path Introduction
The beauty of the Northern Lighthouse, surrounded by the coastal and agricultural paths, invites you to discover the breathtaking mountain and sea landscapes along the North Coast. The bicycle path connecting White Sand Bay and Cape Fugui Lighthouse is about 3 kilometers long, progressing along Taiwan Route 2, allowing you to ride alongside the ocean, leading us deep into Taiwan's northernmost territory. The route passes notable attractions such as Shimen Wedding Plaza, Fuchi Fishing Port, and Cape Fugui Park, while the YouBike station at White Sand Bay is located in the left parking lot of "Misty Northern Blue Spot." The Northern Blue Spot is not only a popular café but also serves as an information station for visitors. At Cape Fugui, next to the fishing port, you can take a circular road around the cape, passing through the Wind Art Camp where you can experience DIY kites, and the octagonal structure of Cape Fugui Lighthouse. The plant ecology and landscape along the trail are also worth appreciating. Entering the seaside wooden boardwalk leads you directly to the beach, and if you visit between March and May, you can see the dreamy green stone trough landscape, which is the most beautiful seasonal portrayal of this sandy beach.
