Wan Ta Bicycle Path Introduction
The beauty of the Northern Lighthouse is surrounded by scenic paths, coastlines, and fields along the North Coast. The bike path connecting Baisha Bay and Cape Fugui Lighthouse is approximately 3 kilometers long, progressing alongside Taiwan Highway 2, allowing cyclists to journey alongside the ocean. Two wheels lead us deeper into Taiwan's northernmost land, primarily passing by landmarks such as Shimen Wedding Plaza, Fugi Fishing Port, and Fugui Cape Park. The YouBike station at Baisha Bay is located at the left parking lot of the "Misty Extreme North Blue Point." The Extreme North Blue Point is not only a well-known café for photo opportunities but also serves as an information station for tourists. At Cape Fugui, next to the fishing port, you can take a circular route along the coastal road, passing through the Wind Art Camp where you can experience kite DIY, and the octagonal Fugui Cape Lighthouse. The plant ecosystems and landscapes along the trail are also worth appreciating. Walking along the seaside wooden boardwalk leads directly to the beach, and if you visit between March and May, you can witness the dreamy green stone trough landscape, which is the most beautiful seasonal scene on this beach.
