Baisha Bay Visitor Center Introduction
The Beihai and Guanyin Mountain National Scenic Area Administration is located next to the entrance of Baisha Bay and features the Baisha Bay Visitor Center, which was officially established in 2002 as Taiwan's 11th national scenic area. The overall architecture differs from typical designs, with interconnected tiers and gentle slopes integrating the parking lot, plaza, and beach activities. This design reduces the visual height of the building and provides green spaces and platforms on the rooftop for activities, improving the traditional binary relationship between people, landscape, and architecture. The structure is designed to blend into the landscape like a great tree or rock, embodying strong ecological principles. Upon entering the visitor center, friendly and enthusiastic staff greet visitors and offer assistance, making guests feel welcomed. Here, a wealth of travel information, publications, and multimedia programs are available to enhance your understanding of the Beihai and Guanyin Mountain area, ensuring a more enjoyable and relaxing journey.
