Baisha Bay Visitor Center (Baisha Bay Nature Center) Introduction
The Baisha Bay Visitor Center (Baisha Bay Nature Center) is located on the northern coast and serves as the core base for environmental education and marine conservation promoted by the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications' Northern Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Administration. Certified by the Ministry of the Environment as an "Environmental Education Facility," it is not only a place for relaxation but also a learning space that integrates nature, ecology, and culture. The center offers a variety of environmental education programs tailored for different age groups, such as the "Marine Cleaning Expedition," which focuses on marine conservation and beach clean-up experiences, and "Exploring the World in Sand," which delves into the geological mysteries of the Datun Volcano. It also incorporates local fishery culture with elements like "stone weirs," allowing the public to better understand the natural and cultural features of the northern coast. The center has been fully upgraded, featuring several interactive experiences, a "9K Panorama Theater," a topographic map of the northern coast, intertidal zone ecological displays, and an interactive "Old Mei Green Stone Trench" installation. Visitors can also follow "Queen Baby" to explore attractions along the route, making the visit more lively, interesting, and easy to understand.
