Zhongping Vegetarian House Introduction
This establishment was founded in the 48th year of the Republic of China. The founders, Huang Jingxing and his wife, Wu Shimei, opened Zhongping Vegetarian Home together in the Zhongli railway station area, and it has been nearly sixty years since then. Initially starting as a noodle stall, Grandma Wu Shimei’s signature vegetarian mixed noodle dish has become a cherished memory for students passing through the Yuanyuan Business Circle in the 1980s and 1990s. During the early days when vegetarian cuisine was not well-developed, all vegetarian ingredients were self-developed and made (signature vegetarian fish, vegetarian cod, mushroom chicken rolls, vegetarian liver, lion’s head, and red yeast rice vegetarian meat). To this day, we insist on making everything in-house without outsourcing, especially our signature sweet and sour vegetarian fish, which is renowned far and wide. During holidays and festivals, it is the best offering for vegetarian enthusiasts to honor deities and ancestors. Currently, our services include: catering for banquets, vegetarian New Year’s dishes, various a la carte stir-fried dishes, economical set menus, customized bento orders, delivery for wedding banquets, exquisite set meals, baked rice and noodles, personal simple meals, etc. We offer a variety of dining options for our customers to choose from. Our restaurant is also covered by a public liability insurance policy for tens of millions, ensuring our customers can eat with peace of mind and confidence.
