Zhongping Road Business District Introduction
The Zhongping Shopping District, known as "Taoyuan Ximen Ding," is located in front of Zhongli Railway Station, just a one-minute walk from the station exit. It is the top choice for shopping and strolling in the area. Initially, the Zhongping Shopping District had an asphalt road, which was later renovated into a pedestrian walkway, comprising a nearly 700-meter-long and 15-meter-wide pedestrian zone, making it even more suitable for shopping. The stores mainly offer boutique clothing and trendy fashion for teenagers, and this street also features local delights such as Xin Zhen Xiang Crispy Candy, Zhongli Meatball Family, Grandma's Traditional Ice Shop under the Banyan Tree, and beef dishes, along with several trendy brand clothing stores. Nearby, there is a Japanese-style duplex building that has been standing for over 80 years. After renovation, it reopened as the "Zhongping Road Story Museum," making it the first urban story museum in Taoyuan City.
