Zhongping Road Commercial District Introduction
The Zhongping Shopping District, known as "Taoyuan Ximen Town," is located in front of Zhongli Railway Station, just a minute's walk from the station's front exit, making it the top choice for shopping in the area. Initially, the Zhongping Shopping District had an asphalt road surface, which was later renovated into a pedestrian walkway, creating a nearly 700-meter long and 15-meter wide pedestrian shopping area, making it even more suitable for shopping in the already bustling district. The shops mainly feature boutique clothing and youth fashion. Additionally, there are popular local eateries like Xin Zhenxiang Crispy Candy, Zhongli Meatball Family, Grandma's Old-Fashioned Ice Shop under the Banyan Tree, and restaurants serving beef dishes. Several trendy fashion brands have also set up shops here. Close to the shopping district is a Japanese-style duplex building that is over 80 years old. After renovation, it reopened as the "Zhongping Road Story House," becoming the first urban story museum in Taoyuan City.
