Zhongping Road Shopping District Introduction
The Zhongping Commercial District, known as "Taoyuan's Ximending," is located at the front exit of Zhongli Railway Station, just a one-minute walk away, making it the top choice for shopping in the area. In the past, the floor of Zhongping Commercial District was asphalt, but it was later renovated into a pedestrian walkway, creating a pedestrian zone that is nearly 700 meters long and 15 meters wide, making the already lively Zhongping Commercial District even more suitable for strolling. The shops mainly focus on boutique clothing and youth fashion, and there are also local treats such as Xin Zhenxiang Crispy Candy, Zhongli Meatball Family, Grandma's Traditional Ice Shop under the Banyan Tree, and various beef dishes along this street, along with several trendy fashion brand stores. Nearby, there is a Japanese-style duplex building that has been standing for over 80 years. After renovation, it reopened as the "Zhongping Road Story Museum," making it Taoyuan City's first urban story museum.
