Zhongping Road Commercial District Introduction
The Zhongping Shopping District, known as "Taoyuan Ximen Ding," is located in front of Zhongli Railway Station, just a 1-minute walk from the station exit. It is the top choice for shopping in the area. Initially, the Zhongping Shopping District had asphalt pavement, but it has since been renovated into a pedestrian walkway, stretching nearly 700 meters long and 15 meters wide, making it even more suitable for shopping in this already bustling area. The shops mainly feature boutique clothing and youth fashion, and there are also popular food spots such as Xin Zhen Xiang Crispy Candy, Zhongli Meatball Family, Grandma's Traditional Ice Shop under the Banyan Tree, and various beef dishes along this street, along with several trendy clothing brands having stores here. Nearby, there is a Japanese-style duplex building that is over 80 years old. After renovation, it reopened as the "Zhongping Road Story House," making it the first urban story museum in Taoyuan City.
