Hsiao Ru-Song Art Park Introduction
Since the death of Teacher Hsiao Ju-Song in 1992, his former residence has long been neglected and unmanaged, becoming a ruin after years of vacancy and abandonment. After the Hsinchu County Cultural Affairs Bureau took over, an active planning for the "Hsiao Ju-Song Art Park" was initiated, and in May 2004, a preparatory committee was established, inviting scholars, experts, and local notables for discussions. Through the research, review, and restoration efforts of these scholars and experts, the original appearance of the "Hsiao Ju-Song Former Residence" has been restored. Today, the residence has been revitalized, and the surrounding old dormitories have been renovated. Using a model of "public management and private operation" or "publicly-produced property," public bidding has been completed, and after finishing the interior decoration in 2008, it was entrusted to a private enterprise—Ming Quan Art Museum—as the management unit.
