Hsiao Ru-Song Art Park Introduction
Since the passing of Professor Hsiao Ru-Sung in 1992, his former residence has been left unmanaged for a long time, resulting in years of idleness and neglect, turning this historical site into a ruin. After being taken over by the Hsinchu County Cultural Affairs Bureau, an active planning process for the "Hsiao Ru-Sung Art Park" was initiated, with a preparatory committee established in May 2004, inviting scholars, experts, and local gentry for discussions. Through the research, review, and restoration led by these experts, the original appearance of the "Hsiao Ru-Sung Former Residence" has been revived. The residence has now been renovated, and the surrounding old dormitories have also been reconstructed. Following the "public-private partnership" or "public construction" model, a public tender has been completed, and the interior decoration work was finished in 2008, with private enterprise Ming-Kuan Art Museum designated as the management trustee.
