Traverse through tropical monsoon forests, follow the streams to visit waterfalls, explore ecological learning, and witness the sustainable coexistence of land and people. The Shuangliu National Forest Recreation Area is located in the mountainous region between the Central Mountain Range and the Hengchun Peninsula, with the Neiweng River running through it. The diverse terrain and water features create a complex forest ecosystem that includes tropical rainforests, subtropical rainforests, tropical monsoon forests, and warm-temperate forests, as well as a variety of species. This area is also home to the Paiwan indigenous settlements, and cultural relics of this indigenous group can still be seen within the region.
