Guiyao New Color Porcelain Introduction
Located in the city center of Xinfeng Township, "Guiyao New Celadon" is the creative workshop of ceramic artist Chen Wei-en. The first floor showcases lifestyle pottery products, while the upper floor serves as a pottery class studio, offering various interesting experience courses. Having engaged in pottery work for several decades, he has developed a low-carbon wood-firing method, carving out his personal creative style between tradition and innovation, and was selected as a participant in the "3rd Taiwan Craft House." The low-carbon wood-fired pottery works are rich in rustic colors and exhibit a myriad of textures and patterns. Using wood-fired teapots or cups to brew tea or coffee can also eliminate water quality odors, enhancing the flavor of the beverages. Currently, in addition to continuing his creations, he also offers pottery courses, hoping to pass on the beauty of pottery and integrate it into people's daily lives.
