Yi He Yuan Organic Farm Introduction
The operator of Yihe Garden, Chen Lirong, is the son-in-law of the soft bridge region. His long-developed characteristics as a technology-oriented person have allowed him to deduce an "optimized" business model from the vegetable planting process. Firstly, he adopts "planned planting," where customers’ ordering periods last for four months with a prepayment requirement. This means that planting starts only after confirming the order, ensuring that the farm has no more than five leftover bags of vegetables each week when supplying subscribers, thus avoiding oversupply issues. Chen Lirong has diversified the operations of this farm. He has promoted urban dwellers to come and farm in the countryside and set up a course on "Organic Vegetable Planting and Health Preservation" at a community college, which was selected as an excellent academic course in 2010, attracting urban students to cultivate vegetables and practically apply organic farming methods while experiencing rural life. Later, he launched one-day or half-day "Food and Agriculture Education Experience Camps," which can be held for groups of 20 people or more, attracting many agricultural associations, kindergartens, senior universities, and parent-child families to participate.
