Yiheyuan Organic Farm Introduction
Yihe Garden's operator, Chen Li-long, is a son-in-law of the Soft Bridge area. His long-developed characteristics as a technology person have allowed him to derive an "optimized" business approach from the vegetable planting process. First, he adopts "planned planting"; customers' orders are for a period of four months, with prepayment, meaning planting only begins after confirming the order. As a result, when delivering vegetables to subscribers each week, the surplus vegetables at the farm do not exceed five bags, thus avoiding over-supply issues. Chen has diversified and diversified the management of this farm. He once promoted urban residents to cultivate in the countryside and offered a course on "Organic Vegetable Planting and Health" at a community university, which was selected as an excellent academic course in 2010, attracting students living in urban areas to come and plant vegetables, practically applying organic farming methods while experiencing rural life. He later launched one-day or half-day "Food and Agriculture Education Experience Camps," which can be organized with a group of over 20 people, attracting many farmers' associations, kindergartens, elderly universities, and parent-child families to participate.
