Yihua Organic Farm Introduction
The operator of Yihe Garden, Chen Liyong, is the son-in-law of the Soft Bridge area. His long-standing characteristics as a tech person have led him to deduce an "optimized" management approach from the vegetable planting process. First, he adopts "planned planting," where the customer's order period lasts for four months with prepayment; only after confirming the order does he begin planting. Therefore, when supplying vegetables to subscribers each week, the farm's leftover vegetables do not exceed five bags, thus avoiding the issue of oversupply. Chen Liyong has diversified and diversified the management of this farm. He has promoted urban residents to engage in farming and has offered a course titled "Organic Vegetable Planting and Health Preservation" at a community college, which was selected as an excellent academic course in 2010, attracting students from urban areas to come and grow vegetables, gaining hands-on experience in organic farming and rural life. He later launched a one-day or half-day "Food and Agriculture Education Experience Camp," allowing groups of 20 or more to participate, attracting many agricultural associations, kindergartens, senior universities, and family participants.
