Golden Lion (Temple) Trail Introduction
The "Jinshi Temple Trail" is famous for being adjacent to the well-known Jinshi Temple, located in the 6th neighborhood of Hukou Village. It was once an important ancient road for transporting agricultural products from Xinzhu to Hukou, originally a winding narrow path. In June 1997, it was transformed into a path made of rows of large round stones by the Soil and Water Conservation Bureau. The trail's viewpoint is the best spot to enjoy the scenery; on clear days, one can gaze over the wide Taoyuan Plateau to the Taiwan Strait to the north. In front of Jinshi Temple, there are abundant tung trees that, during the transition from spring to summer, are covered with blossoms, creating a stunning sight.
