Golden Lion (Temple) Trail Introduction
The "Golden Lion Temple Trail" is renowned for its proximity to the famous Golden Lion Temple and is located in the 6th neighborhood of Hukou Village. In the past, it served as an important ancient road for transporting agricultural products from Xinpu to Hukou. Originally a narrow path, it was planned by the Soil and Water Conservation Bureau's First Engineering Office in June 1997 to become a stone path made of large round stones. The viewpoint along the trail is the best place to enjoy the scenery. On clear days, one can gaze northward across the broad Taoyuan Plain towards the Taiwan Strait. In front of the Golden Lion Temple, there are numerous Tung trees, which, during the transition from spring to summer, bloom profusely, creating a spectacular sight reminiscent of snow covering the trees.
