Jinshishi Trail Introduction
The "Golden Lion Temple Trail" is famous for being adjacent to the renowned Golden Lion Temple, located in the 6th neighborhood of Hukou Village. In the past, it served as an important ancient road for transporting agricultural products from Xinpu to Hukou. Originally a narrow path, it was transformed into a stone-paved trail with large round stones by the Soil and Water Conservation Bureau's First Engineering Office in June 1997. The viewing platform along the trail is the best spot to enjoy the scenery; on clear days, visitors can gaze northward across the broad Taoyuan Plateau to the Taiwan Strait. In front of the Golden Lion Temple, there is a grove of tung trees that bloom spectacularly in spring and early summer, creating a breathtaking sight with their snow-like flowers.
