Golden Lion (Temple) Trail Introduction
The "Jinsha Temple Trail" is famous for being adjacent to the renowned Jinsha Temple, located in the 6th neighborhood of Hukou Village. Historically, it was an important ancient road for transporting agricultural products from Xinpu to Hukou, initially a narrow footpath. In June 1997, it was transformed into a pathway paved with large round stones by the Water Resources Agency's First Engineering Office. The viewpoint along the trail is the best spot for enjoying the scenery; on clear days, one can admire the vast Taoyuan Plateau to the north and look out over the Taiwan Strait. In front of Jinsha Temple, there are abundant tung trees, which are spectacular when they bloom in spring and summer, blanketing the trees with white flowers like snow.
