Golden Lion (Temple) Trail Introduction
The "Golden Lion Temple Trail" is famous for being adjacent to the renowned "Golden Lion Temple," located in the 6th neighborhood of Hukou Village. It was once an important ancient road for transporting agricultural products from Xinpu to Hukou. Originally a narrow path, it was transformed into a stone-paved trail with large round stones by the Water Resources Agency's First Engineering Office in June 1997. The observation deck along the trail is the best spot to enjoy the scenery. On clear days, one can gaze through the expansive Taoyuan Plateau to the Taiwan Strait to the north. In front of the Golden Lion Temple, there are dense tung trees, which are spectacularly adorned with blossoms during the transition from spring to summer, resembling a blanket of snow.
