Hsinchu High Speed Rail Station Introduction

This station is the most distinctive in Taiwan and was designed by the renowned architect Yao Ren-Chia. It represented Taiwan at the 2002 Venice Biennale of Architecture and won the Taiwan Architecture Award in 2006. The design incorporates elements of wafers and glass for its interior and exterior, while the streamlined, arched roof draws inspiration from the Hakka architectural style of the walled residence, creating a structure that embodies local characteristics, modernity, and a sense of technology. Although it is the smallest station by area among all Taiwan High-Speed Rail stations, its technologically stylish appearance and local charm quickly made it a favorite among photography enthusiasts, becoming a new icon of Zhubei Technology for photographers to capture!
