Golden Bat Ecology Museum Introduction
The Golden Bat Ecology Museum, renowned throughout Asia, offers an immersive ecological journey filled with bats. Guided tours are available in the morning and evening, allowing visitors to closely observe bat behaviors and introducing children to biodiversity knowledge. Nearby, Cheng Cheng Elementary School features a cute bat-themed mascot. Located in Shuilin Township, the Golden Bat Ecology Museum is a distinctive ecological venue in Yunlin County, classified as a Category III tourist area, and has also passed certification as an environmental education facility. It is just a 10-minute drive from Beigang Township. While the museum's premises are not large, it is one of the more significant bat ecology museums in Asia, with ecological art exhibitions as a primary feature. Outside the entrance, there are two paper relief sculptures titled "Five Blessings Arriving" and "Hundred Blessings Coming Together," created by master paper sculptor Wang Zhenwen, representing the blessings received by Yunlin residents and the biodiversity of bat species.
