Chuan-Hsuan Guitar Store Introduction
The Guanxian Guitar Instrument Workshop, located in the fields of Shui-Lin Township, is personally hand-crafted by Mr. Chen Guo-Ming, who is one of the last remaining guitar makers in Taiwan with over thirty years of experience. The number of guitars he has crafted is countless. In recent years, influenced by idol dramas, the surge in popularity of ukuleles has drawn public attention to this workshop situated in a simple rural area, attracting many enthusiasts. Under the attention of the Yunlin County Government in recent years, the Guanxian Guitar Instrument Workshop has enhanced and innovated the added value of its products. Moreover, it has infused cultural creativity into its offerings, using painted guitars to promote guitar learning, allowing folk melodies to resonate within daily life. In the future, it plans to focus on painted guitars, boutique guitars, melodic guitars, dream guitars, personalized guitars, and ukuleles, while integrating local culture for joint marketing, such as in conjunction with the Shui-Lin Sweet Potato Festival and accepting visits for educational activities from elementary and middle schools.
