Shuilin Township, Fanshu Cuo Shuntian Temple Introduction
The only temple dedicated to Mazu in Taiwan, located in Shun Tian Gong, features the unique statue of Mazu known as "Fan Shu Liao Mazu." This statue is in a standing pose with both hands raised towards the sky, a rare sight in Taiwan. Every year on the 15th day of the first lunar month, festivities are held to celebrate the Lantern Festival, which includes activities such as big turtle divination, sky lantern releases, and fire horse shooting, lasting three days and nights.
