St. Joseph's Church, Tsujiakou Introduction
The first Catholic church in Yunlin, the Shuijiao Catholic Church, is located on the southern bank of the Zhuoshui River. During the Guangxu period, the believers of the Shuijiao community invited Father Gaoxilong from the Luocuo Catholic Church to preach here, renting a simple bamboo house as a temporary preaching site. This marked the beginning of the church's establishment and also the origin of Catholic dissemination in Yunlin County.
