Dapi Sānshān King Temple Introduction
The Three Mountain Kings refer to the deities of the three mountains in Jinshan, Mingshan, and Dushan in Jieyang County, Guangdong Province. They were later honored as the Three Mountain Kings by Emperor Taizong of Song. During the Kangxi period of the Qing dynasty, the Three Mountain Kings were brought to Taiwan by a person from Guangdong, where they have since been enshrined, becoming one of the temples of the Hakka people.
