Shun Tian Temple, Liren Li, Huwei Introduction
The Fuli Zhuangyan Emperor Temple, also known as Shuntian Temple in Huwei, is dedicated to Lord Guan (Guan Sheng Dijun), with secondary deities Guan Ping and General Zhou Cheng. The original statue of Lord Guan was housed in a private residence belonging to the Li family in the Houws Village of Huwei. A new temple was established in the 45th year of the Republic of China, named Shuntian Temple. Every year on the 24th day of the sixth lunar month, a celebration is held for the birthday of Lord Guan, along with a procession for peace and blessings.
