Wengang Township Anfu Introduction
The fishing village is over three thousand years old, and every four years, it welcomes the King Mosquito at the Zhen'an Fort, where the main deities worshipped are the Thousand-Year-Old Goddess Xingfu, the Thousand-Year-Old God Mofu, and the Thousand-Year-Old God Sufu. This tradition originates from the Ding clan in Haikou Village, Taixi, and every four years, Zhen'an Fort hires Master Wu Zongming from Mailiao to create a Quanzhou-style paper-doll king boat to send off the Thousand-Year-Old Gods.
