Fenggu Innovation Base Introduction
The "Fenggu Innovation Base" is located opposite Xi Elementary School in Douliou City, and the original site was a rice milling factory. In the early days, Taiwanese farmers used a farming tool called "Fenggu" to separate the full and lighter rice grains after harvesting and drying the rice, as well as to remove the impurities and chaff from the grains. To continue the local culture, the mission of the space is inspired by the Fenggu's function of refining and purifying. In the future, it will promote high-quality products from Yunlin, aiming to preserve good items from rural areas (HOME GOOD). To energize the space, we will provide co-working spaces, allowing freelancers to easily focus on their work and exchange knowledge with others. Additionally, we will introduce resources related to local universities, incubation center programs, young entrepreneurs, and Yunlin's young farmers. Through renting out the space, we will regularly hold intellectual lectures and hands-on experience activities, discussing topics related to design thinking, youth entrepreneurship, and local culture, gathering various innovative ideas and professional knowledge at "Fenggu," creating rich knowledge sharing and community connections.
