Sunrise Bridge Introduction
The "Shuguang Bridge" was originally a railroad bridge. After the county government renovated it with a wooden walkway, it became a scenic bridge for bicycles and pedestrians. Next to the bridge is Peace Square, which features the 228 Memorial, seaside seating, and a Peace Bell. Standing on the bridge offers views of the Meilun River and the Pacific Ocean. It is named "Shuguang Bridge" because it is a great place to welcome the first light of dawn, making it an ideal spot for watching sunrises.
