Zhubei Quanzhou House Fenyangtang Introduction

Quanzhou Cuo is located in the Luchang Village of Zhubei. It was originally a hunting ground for the Takasago people. Later, people from Quanzhou came to cultivate this area, and the Lin family from Raoping took over the cultivation, gradually turning it into a Hakka settlement. The old place name reflects the history of the Quanzhou people residing here. The Fen Yang Hall of Zhubei is located in the Quanzhou Cuo of Doulun Village, Zhubei City. In 2004, the Hsinchu County Government carried out urban renewal in the Luchang Doulun area and implemented a land acquisition project. Due to the intact structure of the traditional courtyard building of the Fen Yang Hall, it was preserved in the Zhubei urban planning project and designated as park land. To preserve this building, the original owner actively campaigned, and after review by the Hsinchu County Cultural Heritage Review Committee, it was deemed to have cultural heritage value. In 2007, it was officially registered as a historic building in Zhubei.
