Zhukou Liuzhangli Cidu Temple Introduction
Daifu Hall was originally a shrine created by Lin Xiankun, known as "Shanqing Hall." Later, as Lin Xiankun organized the Yimin army to defend the homeland during the Lin Shuangwen incident, assisted the government forces in suppressing the rebellion, established a martyr's tomb, built the Yimin Temple, and donated lands for rituals and bridges among other public welfare deeds. His third son, Lin Guobao, also actively participated in local welfare and assisted in the construction of the city wall in Zhuqian. In the twenty-third year of the Jiaqing era, he petitioned the court to posthumously honor his father with the title of Fengzhi Daifu, which was granted. According to the Lin family records, when Lin Guobao ceremoniously returned to his hometown in late autumn, a grand ceremony was held at the Lin Family Public Hall "Shanqing Hall," during which the decree was presented in the Shengzhi Building of Qing Shantan, and thus Qing Shantan was renamed Daifu Hall.
