Shenjing Ecological Park Introduction
By turning from National Highway No. 1 to National Highway No. 3 and then taking County Road 117 at the Qiaodong Interchange, you can find the Shen-Je Ecological Park located on Shenjing 2nd Road in Baoshan Township. Upon entering the park, you will first be attracted by an archway shaped like a frog, as if stepping into a magical frog world. The park also features cute frog installation art and exhibition areas that introduce visitors to the life cycle of frogs and educate everyone about ecological conservation. The educational ecological pool here allows both young and old friends to observe frogs up close and learn how to care for and protect these indicator species. Since 2001, Shen-Je Ecological Park has been dedicated to the rehabilitation of the endangered species unique to Taiwan — the Taipei Red Frog. These frogs are indicators of environmental health, and through active conservation efforts, the park has successfully revived the Taipei Red Frog in this area. This is not only an effort to protect biodiversity, but it also symbolizes the improvement and protection of the local ecological environment. In addition to rich ecological observation, the park offers a wide view that allows visitors to enjoy the magnificent scenery of Wuzhi Mountain.
