Hatta Yoichi Memorial Park Introduction
The Hatada Yoichi Memorial Park is located on the north side of the Wusantou Reservoir. It was established to commemorate Mr. Hatada Yoichi, the builder of the Chianan Canal. The construction of the memorial park was renovated in 2009 and took two years, officially opening in 2011. To faithfully present the original appearance, the engineers involved in the restoration project traveled to Mr. Hatada's hometown in Ishikawa Prefecture for architectural reference and incorporated Japanese carpentry techniques to build this park.
