Liao Dao Ao Introduction
From the high vantage point of the Island Ring North Road, one can overlook the entire view of Le Dao Ao Reservoir. The Le Dao Ao Reservoir is located to the north of Xijhu Island, about one-third of the way from the left side of the top edge of an inverted triangle. Initially, it was an open-type valley facing northeast, later turning north. The valley's entrance is silted with sediment, forming a tidal entrance, which was initially referred to as Lao Dao Ao. Due to the name's unpleasant connotation, it was later renamed "Le Dao Ao" based on its phonetic similarity.
